Hello [is there anyone out there?]

This is going to be my attempt at an introduction.

Well, my name is Sarah. Mostly I write music [ http://www.myspace.com/sarahwintersishiphop ], but I also love fashion.

Once again this summer, I have a desk job. And to curb boredom, I've been wandering through the depths of the internet, spending ridiculous hours reading articles and such. Near July, I joined a fashion site called Style Mob [ http://www.stylemob.com/ ]. A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon Mai's fashion blog (she was a member of stylemob and had linked a photo to it): http://fashioni.st/ . Her blog led me to Jennine's [ http://thecoveted.blogspot.com/ ] and Jennine's led me to Agathe's [ http://stylebytes.net/ ]. It was Agathe's blog that inspired me to start my own fashion journey. I mean, all three inspired me in different ways, but Agathe's was the final straw. I had to try it after I read every back post I possibly could.

Over the past couple of years, I've become a tad bit obsessed with fashion. I believe it all started with that television show: America's Next Top Model. I got myself subscriptions to Vogue, Cosmo, Elle, InStyle, Harper's Bazaar, W, Allure, and Glamour. I began thrifting, the only way I could afford a large wardrobe. I'd go on Forever21.com and UrbanOutfitters.com.

I've tried starting different blogs over the years and none of them have stuck, so I'm crossing my fingers that this time will be different.

This is no competition with other fashion bloggers, only a hope that I can inspire as these other bloggers have inspired me.

And here begins something new. Let's just wait and see what happens.
